Major Duties

Under the general direction of the Associate Director and the Senior Specialist/Financial Aid Systems, the Financial Aid Module System Specialist is responsible for providing overall support for the PeopleSoft Campus Solutions Financial Aid module. The incumbent will work with the Senior Specialist/Financial Aid Systems to increase the amount of productivity through operational efficiency and system effectiveness.

  • Analyze new and existing business requirements; implement the functionality of the Financial Aid module; and analyze enhancement requests.
  • Work closely with campus departments and other Instructional and Information Technology Services (IT) staff to provide high-level production support, investigate and resolve complex system problems, and disseminate system information.
  • Serve as the primary analyst for the importing and exporting of Title IV and State Aid data via the Department of Education’s EDE Express Systems.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Equivalent to graduation from an accredited four-year college or university in a job-related field required.
  • Equivalent to five (5) years of full-time, progressively responsible relevant experience. Oversight and administration of a program with supervision and/or lead experience.
  • Master’s degree desirable

 

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Thorough knowledge of general practices, programs, and/or administrative specialty, and operational and fiscal analysis and techniques. Thorough knowledge of Federal and State regulations.
  •  Ability and specialized skills to: take initiative and independently plan, organize, coordinate, and perform work in various situations where numerous and diverse demands are involved; expertise in investigating and analyzing problems with a broad administrative impact and implications.
  • Ability to train others and provide lead work direction; interpret, and apply a wide variety of policies and procedures to develop conclusions and make recommendations; perform basic research and statistical analysis; analyze data and make accurate projections using business mathematics and basic statistics; communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

 

Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule

  • The university offers an excellent benefits package, including but not limited to: medical, dental, vision, retirement & savings, tuition waiver, and more.
  • Classification: Administrative Analyst/Specialist / 1038 / 3
  • The anticipated HIRING RANGE: $5,537 - $7,050 per month, dependent upon qualifications and experience. The salary range for this classification is: $5,537 - $10,014 per month.
  • HOURS: Full Time; 40 hours per week; Monday through Friday; may include evenings and weekends.  
  • This is a Regular position with a one-year probationary period. 
  • The position is currently hybrid 3 days in office, 2 days remote; however, this is subject to change based on student and/or operational needs.
