University Enterprises Corporation at CSUSB ("UEC") supports the university's educational mission by providing quality services that complement the instructional program. The University depends upon UEC to provide services that cannot be supported with state funds. We’re responsible for business enterprises on campus including, but not limited to, dining, bookstore, convenience store, and vending services. We also serve as the grantee for federal, state, and local funding for research and sponsored projects.

Position Summary
Temporary, Non Exempt, Full Time, Benefited position through 9/30/2025 (Appointment may be renewed annually based upon availability of funds, availability of work and satisfactory job performance).
Salary: $3,466.60 per month.
Location: CSUSB Campus
|
Work Schedule
40 hours per week. Typically, Monday-Friday from 8:00AM to 5:00PM. Some nights, weekend work may be required.

Typical Activities
Under minimal supervision of the Project Director, the Project Coordinator will work independently to:
Administrative Support:
- Coordinate and manage daily operations of the ExMILE project.
- Organize and maintain project documentation, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
Payment Processing:
- Process payments, invoices, and reimbursement requests.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of financial documents to relevant departments.
- Collaborate with the finance department to track project expenses.
Supplies and Requisitions:
- Order and maintain inventory of necessary supplies and materials for the project.
- Prepare and submit requisition forms for office supplies, equipment, and other resources.
- Monitor supply usage and budget, ensuring cost-effective procurement.
Communication and Coordination:
- Serve as a point of contact for students, faculty, and staff members involved in the project.
- Coordinate communication between project team members, including scheduling and organizing meetings, and LEAS and preferential partners.
- Develop and maintain mailing lists and distribute project-related information.
Meeting Coordination:
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate meetings, workshops, and training sessions for the project.
- Ensure all necessary materials, presentations, and resources are available for meetings.
- Take meeting minutes, distribute them to stakeholders, and follow up on action items.
Training and Professional Development and Travel:
- Assist in organizing and identifying training needs for staff members.
- Enroll staff in necessary professional development programs related to the project.
- Track and document staff completion of required training sessions.
- Assist on travel documentation for faculty in the program.
Project Tracking and Reporting:
- Monitor the progress of project deliverables and maintain tracking systems.
- Assist in preparing project progress reports for stakeholders and funders.
- Identify and address potential issues or delays in project timelines.
Basic Research assistance:
- Help the PI to collect and organize data from the participants and for evaluation and research purposes.
- Collaborate with GIA and LEA partners in exchanging ad organizing documentation
General Support:
- Provide logistical support for any special events (Dual Immersion Symposium), workshops, or conferences related to the project.
- Assist with the creation of project materials such as brochures, flyers, and reports, printing, etc.
- Assist Bilingual students in finding resources, guidance, informational session, admission process, accreditation and other student related processes.
- Occasional travel for meetings and events.

Minimum Qualifications
- Education:
- Enrolled in the last semesters of a Bachelor's degree in education, business administration, project management, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Prior experience in project coordination, administration, or a related role.
- Other:
- Bilingual and biliterate in Spanish.
- Knowledgeable of the Bilingual Authorization program at the WCoE.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Basic financial management knowledge is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working at the Watson College of Education.
- Experience in educational or academic settings.
- Familiarity with payment processing and procurement systems.
- Experience working with diverse stakeholders, including faculty, students, and administrators.
