Student Success Advisor Pomona
Join CPP's academic advising team and become a part of a community of professionals engaging in transformational work to improve students' college-going experience and student outcomes. The Student Success Advisor (SSA) will provide holistic, asset-based, equity-minded, and proactive advising to an assigned advising caseload in their designated College. SSAs will support students’ persistence and timely graduation by engaging in regular advising meetings with students to develop academic plans, connect with resources, and build skills that will make support them in achieving their educational and career goals. The SSA will also collaborate with faculty, staff, and administrators in the College as well as in the Bronco Advising Center, the Office of Student Success, the Registrar's Office, University Advising, and supplemental advising departments to meet institutional goals and implement student success initiatives.
Associate, Office of Undergraduate Research Pomona
The position is in the Office of Undergraduate Research (OUR), part of the Office of Academic Innovation. Functions of the OUR include organizing the annual Student Research, Scholarship, and Creative Activities (RSCA) Conference, the annual Summer Creative Activities and Research Symposium (CARS), coordinating undergraduate research efforts across campus, overseeing various OUR programs (including Research through Inclusive Opportunities, the OUR GRAD program, the Achieve Scholars Program, etc.), develop programs to increase and enhance undergraduate research opportunities at Cal Poly Pomona and assess the effectiveness of the office activities.
Lead Coordinator - Center for Community Engagement (CCE) Pomona
Under the general direction of the Associate Vice President for Academic Innovation (AVP Al), the Center for Community Engagement (CCE) Lead Coordinator provides strategic direction, tactical leadership, coordination, and administrative oversight of processes and operations of the CCE. The CCE Lead Coordinator reports to the AVP Al and works with CCE staff, faculty, other staff, and faculty/community advisory committees to design, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive program to support high-quality community-engaged learning, service learning, internship, cooperative education, and civic engagement opportunities throughout the teaching, learning, and scholarship experience of students, faculty, and staff. The incumbent advances a vision of community-based teaching, learning, and scholarship that are aligned with the University Strategic Plan and the Academic Master Plan. The incumbent provides advanced­level functional expertise and leadership to the CCE. The incumbent is the campus liaison to the Chancellor's Office Center for Community Engagement and collaborates closely with the CO and other CSU centers to advance the CSU's vision of engaged learning. The incumbent's work is primarily strategic in nature, with a broad and far-reaching impact on campus and system-wide levels.
Bronco Scholars Coordinator Pomona
The coordinator will coordinate the complex administrative planning process for, and, will support and serve as staff support for the Bronco Scholars Program.
